Performs simple and complex analysis on tissue, blood and body fluids using laboratory instrumentation, manual methods and standard operating procedures. Trains other technical personnel in the performance of laboratory tasks. Approves the performance of tests by technicians. Uses independent judgment and assumes accountability for high quality standards.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology; or Bachelor Degree and one year as a Medical Laboratory Technician; or, 90 semester hours of science and completion of an AHCA approved training program; or, Associate Degree and appropriate combination of training and experience.

Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must possess either a temporary or current license as a State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist in Serology/Immunology, Immunohematology or Histocompatibility.
