The Sterile Processing Technician I operates sterilizers, maintains sterilization records, and performs biologicals, monitors testing of sterilizers and orders and maintains case cart stock supplies. The Sterile Processing Technician I also receives, processes, and delivers supplies and equipment for various departments.
The ideal Sterile Processing Technician I candidate is someone who is able to maintain effective communication with patients, staff and physicians; follow appropriate protocols and procedures; and provide great customer satisfaction.
