The Clinical Manager is responsible for direction of clinical services/operations in the Operating Room, Digestive Health Center, Pain Procedure Intra-Operative, Pre-Anesthesia Testing-Clinic and Anesthesia Group. Works closely with the Director, and Medical Staff leadership to develop, implement, and maintain clinical programs that enhance the quality of care and achieve a high level of patient and provider satisfaction.
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing. BSN preferred.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES R.N. with current New MexicoState license. National certification highly desirable, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt-preferred.
SKILLS: Strong clinical and leadership skills and previous management experience including experience in facilitating interdisciplinary team collaboration. Evidence of such experience should include:

Ability to problem solve; ability to appropriately confront issues

Experience in dealing with physicians on an administrative level and ability to work collaboratively with medical staff members and leadership
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years experience in clinical role in the Surgical Services; three to five years progressive management experience.

-Provides direct supervision to: Administrative Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Supervisors, Nursing, Clerical, and ancillary staff in the unit.
