We are a mission-based business devoted to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in a variety of settings including small group residential settings and community-based day programs. We are looking for employees who are flexible in spirit, have a positive attitude and are capable of supporting people with significant behavioral challenges. Positions are in the Northern Virginia Area.
We are seeking to hire licensed professionals who possess one of the following credentials: LCSW, LPC, or LMHP. The primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, providing Crisis Stabilization and Therapeutic Consultation Services to supported persons in accordance with company policies and procedures and Virginia Licensing and Medicaid requirements.
This position pays $65,000-$75,000 annually based on experience and credentials. We offer a competitive sign on bonus, awarded after 3 months of successful billing! Full-time and part-time positions are available. Position requires at a minimum: MA/MS preferred in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Human Services, or a related area from an accredited college or university with three years of documented experience working with special needs and challenging behaviors, and experience in developing behavior plans.
MUST HAVE Licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMHP. To be considered, you must clearly indicate which current credential you have.License-eligible candidates in the state of VA may be considered. Applicants need not apply without the required credentials and experiences - Proof of credentials are required on the first day of employment.
Documentation of experience working with/developing behavior plans with special needs populations is REQUIRED. Incumbents should have significant experience working with ABA-based supports or in an environment that is committed to positive behavioral supports. The chosen candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends and be able to respond to crisis situations. The incumbent's schedule will vary and be based on the needs of the program.
