Brief Position Summary: The Clinical director will diagnose clients by criteria as stipulated in the DSM-5 such as mental, emotional, behavioral, development and addictive disorders; conducts therapeutic assessments, develops treatment, progress and discharges plans. Utilizes best practices in culturally appropriate relational and systemic therapeutic assessments and interventions. Effectively, provides supervision and feedback to supervisees. Reviews cases with other clinicians and supervisors; ensures that all clinical related paper works, e.g. assessments, progress reports and treatment reviews are implemented timely in compliance with HIPAA regulations and the agency policies and procedures. In addition, the clinical director will actively attend in-house training sessions, treatment reviews, and supervision meetings as directed by the agency. Obtains and maintains appropriate professional licensure, and engages in state-mandated continuing education. Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills; aptitude for working with numbers and details; word processing skills; aptitude for explaining policies and procedures to people; skill in working with people, team work and systemic approach. Dresses and welcomes clients and guests professionally. Communicates in a professional, positive, and effective manner with all clients, families, stakeholders and collaborates professionally with others. Willingness to learn and understand employees and clients’ cultures and needs as well as the agency's mission and policies.
Minimum requirements: Valid driver’s license and car insurance, professional liability insurance and CPR certificates, pass background checks. Candidates must be licensed clinicians: LMFT, AAMFT Approved Supervisor, LICSW. AAMFT Approved Supervisors and PhD holders/candidates who are licensed are preferred. Pay ranges from $60,000 to $75, 000 plus benefits for FT and $35,000 to $50,000 for PT. Graduate and licensed bilingual clinicians as well as MBA, JD holders with Master Degrees in counseling/ mental health related fields and are licensed. Who we are
CTFCS is a licensed outpatient mental health treatment provider (Agency) in Massachusetts. It is dedicated to reduce high school dropout, delinquency, violence, substance abuse, behavioral problems and relational/family crises. In order to accomplish that work, CTFCS has licensed and graduate license-eligible professionals such as Marriage and Family Therapists, Clinical Social Workers, Psychologists (PhD), Professional Counselors and Alcohol and Drug Counselors. In addition, CTFCS has a Nurse practitioner and a psychiatrist who prescribe medications.
