Detailed knowledge of recruitment and contracting approaches and options. Knowledge of physician recruitment software and centralized databases ideal. Must be highly organized and have a working knowledge of hospital and practice operations.
Strong business skills, such as marketing, finance, and human resources necessary. Must be able to handle multiple priorities and drive results within short time frames.
Demonstrated proficiency in fundamental concepts, principles, practices, and procedures of employment law and generally accepted employment practices. Knowledge of EEO, ADA, and Immigration requirements.
Active member of Association of Staff Physician Recruiters, Mid-Atlantic Physician Recruiter Alliance, Inc., or similar recruitment organization preferred.
Three to five years previous recruitment, sales or HR related experience in healthcare or a high volume service industry preferred, including 1-2 minimum years previous physician recruitment life cycle experience required.
Experience in utilizing social networking and other innovative recruiting methods to source active and passive candidates.
Must convey friendly and professional demeanor, possess strong interpersonal skills, exercise diplomacy, discretion, sound judgment, and flexibility in varying situations, and must maintain confidentiality. Highly effective verbal and written communication skills are required to work successfully with a diverse group of staff at all levels within the organization and community.
Proficient in MS Office products with the ability to use and navigate web-based applications.
Valid drivers license required.
