Vanderbilt Occupational Health and Wellness in Nashville, TN has an opening for a physician to join our innovative occupational medicine practice. This position will utilize clinical and programmatic skills while providing leadership and research opportunities that reflect experience and ambition. This is an ideal position for the experienced physician wishing to pursue alternative practice aspirations or the new physician beginning a career in occupational medicine. The position will share a practice with experienced occupational providers.
The physician who joins us has the opportunity to provide clinical care to Vanderbilt University and Medical Center’s faculty, physicians, and staff in the setting of an onsite occupational health clinic. Additionally, the position will be asked to collaborate with other providers in the award-winning Vanderbilt Occupational Health and Wellness division to engage employees with innovative programs that maximize productivity and well-being through the integration of core programs: Occupational Health, Health Plus (health promotion), and Work/Life Connections – EAP. Opportunities exist in research, leadership or network development based upon interest and success.
Graduate of an approved School of Medicine
MD license or eligible to be licensed in the State of Tennessee
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Occupational and Environmental Medicine or internal medicine (other specialties considered based upon experience)
Medical Review Officer certification or willingness to complete within first 6 months on the job
Department of Transportation Medical Examiner certification or willingness to complete within first 6 months on the job
