St. Luke’s Health System has an exciting opportunity for an Echo Technologist to join our team!
The Echo Technologist performs diagnostic testing and echocardiography, doppler, flow analysis, color flow mapping and M-mode on adult and pediatric patients suspected of having cardiac disease. The Echo Technologist performs appropriate procedures using protocols, knowledge and understanding to provide uniform and age-appropriate care for patients. The Echo Technologist obtains diagnostic information and provides necessary reports for the referring physician, medical director, HIM, and Echo Lab files.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDSC), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), or registry eligible according to the ARDMS or CCI standards. Must pass the exam within 12 months from date of hire.
- Current CPR certification
Pediatric experience strongly preferredBecome a member of a dedicated team of Echo Techs, providing services for 15 different sites within Idaho including outreach to physician clinics and community hospitals. A patient-oriented mindset, strong critical thinking skills, and flexibility within a dynamic and challenging environment are all necessary to be a successful Echo Tech at St. Luke’s.
