We are seeking a neonatal nurse practitioner (NNP) to join our team of nine neonatologists, three neonatal nurse practitioners and a PA to provide care to patients in suburban Atlanta. Piedmont Fayette Hospital has a rapidly expanding delivery service and has recently expanded to a 20-bed Level-III NICU with approximately 2,500 births annually. Though there will be some flexibility in scheduling, we anticipate the nurse practitioner will provide in-house, eight-hour per day shift coverage, with no night call duties. Responsibilities will include attending high-risk deliveries, assessing and rounding on newborns in the NICU and providing well-newborn services. Coverage is predominately at Piedmont Fayette Hospital; however, our practice also covers at two other Level-III nurseries in the Atlanta area, providing opportunities to practice at more than one facility.
The Greater Atlanta area combines the sophistication of a big city with a heavy dose of Southern Hospitality. World-renowned museums, theaters, highly successful professional sports franchises, historic sites and a multitude of recreational activities are all within your reach. A low cost of living, great schools and affordable housing make the Greater Atlanta area a wonderful place to live, work and play.
