Finding and retaining talent will be a key part of your job. You will lead and direct your enthusiastic physician recruiter, as well as work closely with your HR Director in supporting a group of talented HR generalists, as they engage a large and diverse candidate pool with the goal of hiring the right people at the right time and with the right skills and values to enhance and grow our company and our outstanding employee culture.
As a key member of our senior management team, you will be involved in strategic and tactical planning and will ensure appropriate employee involvement in the definition and implementation of strategic initiatives. You will ensure that decisions are made using data while also ensuring that those decisions have carefully considered the impact to our employees and, when applicable, our patients. You will work with your team to routinely scan the horizon for HR trends throughout multiple industries and propose programs and changes that address these trends in a way that benefits ARC and its employees.
You will work closely and collaboratively with your Benefits Manager in order to actively oversee our benefits programs and our HR Director to provide your expertise and oversight of our compensation programs. You will enjoy the challenge of finding ways to control benefits costs with minimal, and ideally no, negative impact to our employees, and as an active member of our 401(k) plan committee, you will ensure that we are helping our employees plan for their future. You will be intrigued and fully engaged in the design and performance of our various health and welfare plans and compensation programs and you will fully understand the strategic nature of these programs and their financial impact to the company and their personal impact to our employees.
Working closely with your Staff Development Director, you will provide oversight and direction on the company’s training and, leadership development programs and opportunities. These opportunities span from clinical, business office, and compliance training to our new leader Management Foundations Program and our exclusive Leadership Academy, which is designed to prepare current and future leaders for their next opportunity within ARC.
Finally, but no less critical, you will lead a team of talented and dedicated HR and staff development professionals that focus on providing outstanding service to their customers. You will do this in a supportive and collaborative fashion and you will understand that “fun” and “work” do not need to be mutually exclusive terms.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Development/Management, Business Administration/ Management or a related field and ten years of related work experience in human resource program management and organizational development, with a minimum of five years of management and budgeting experience. SPHR certification is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated successful senior HR leadership experience in the areas related to the functions of this job. In-depth understanding of current federal, state, and local employment/labor laws and regulations.
Experience as a leader of management-level employees with a proven ability to provide an engaging and enjoyable working environment for HR staff.
Excellent oral, written, and platform communication skills.
Proven experience as a business partner to various internal business groups and leaders.
Experience utilizing strategies that address both short-term requirements and long-term Company needs.
Ability to engage others, listen and adapt response to meet others’ needs.
Ability to align own actions with those of other team members committed to common goals.
Ability to manage competing priorities.
