The Knox Community Health Center is seeking a Psych-APN to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with psychiatric disorders using a full scope of therapeutic skills, including the prescribing of appropriate medications within standards of psychiatric care in our Federally Funded Community Health Center. This position functions in a timely and appropriate manner as a team member on an integrated behavioral health team. Must have solid psychosocial assessment skills and a desire to work closely with other professionals. Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) skills and ability to master detailed and complex information as well as experience with electronic medical record charting. A Master’s Degree in Psychiatric and Mental Health nursing is required. .
