ResponsibilitiesThe Account Manager reports to the Ambulatory Director and is accountable for managing the customer relationships of UCLA Health affiliates, during the pre and post implementation phases that are part of Community Connect and Clinically Integrated Network programs. The individual will: Cultivate a collaborative and effective environment through positive and productive relationships with customers Proactively communicate delivery and support performance with customer clinics and providers Participate in pre-contracting activities, workflow preview demonstrations for prospective clients, and responding to system functionality questions Participate in planning, implementation and go-live activities which may include being on site with the client, gathering questions, tracking issues and requests Partner with the Ambulatory analysts to ensure a smooth transition back to the post-go-live support model, including familiarity with project decisions, content, issues and outstanding optimization requests, decision tracking, and engaging governance with decision documents and change requests Use appropriate tools for documentation, communication and collaboration as defined by UCLA Health policies and procedures
Qualifications· Bachelor's Degree in health care information technology, nursing, computer science, or related area preferred, and/or equivalent combination of experience/training. · Demonstrated proficiency with information systems technology, which also includes Microsoft Office Suite, email, intranet, internet, and other systems. · Must possess strong technical experience and background working within an EMR; strong knowledge of Epic applications suite preferred. · Experience leading large and complex projects. · Experience mentoring staff in both technical and business related matters · Demonstrated skill in system workflow and business process flow analysis and design. · 5+ years of experience in a healthcare related organization. · Management or Team Lead experience a plus.
