Department of Veterans Affairs, Huntington, WV is seeking a Chief of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Candidate must be a full-time board certified/board eligible Physiatrist. Administrative oversight of multiple disciplines including physiatry, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech and language pathology. A variety of clinical opportunities exist including: Spinal Cord Injury/Disorders Program, Polytrauma and Traumatic Brain Injury Program, general outpatient physiatry with amputee Care and Musculoskeletal pain and spasticity management procedures, prosthetic and orthotic management, electroneuromyography consultation, and Acupuncture. Work schedules are generally from Mondays to Fridays. Hershel “Woody” Williams VA Medical Center is an 80 bed acute medical/surgical facility affiliated with Marshall University School of Medicine.
