Lincoln PrairieBehavioral Health Center is seeking a Full-Time (32 hours per week) Patient Accounts Specialist to join our Business office team. This position will be primarily responsible for executing billing, follow-up, and collection efforts necessary to relieve patient accounts for a collectible status, on a daily basis and performs billing, collections, and other business office tasks as directed by the Business Office Manager. This position is responsible for assisting the Business Office Manager in reviewing and selecting of accounts to be placed with outside collection agencies. This position will also take an active role in attaining and maintain AR days and assisting Utilization Review (UR) in monitoring patient benefits.
This position offers flexibility in setting a schedule that is either M-F or M-TH.
