OHSU was the first Joint Commission-designated Comprehensive Stroke Center in the Pacific Northwest. As an RN in the Neurosciences ICU, you will have access to 24-hour CT and MRI diagnostic services and close proximity to the OR and Interventional Radiology suites to enable rapid access. Typical cases encountered include complex neurosurgery, stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage and epilepsy, among others.
BLS and ACLS certification
One year of recent critical care nursing experience
Neuroscience nursing experience
CCRN or CNRN certification
