The Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin (RHOW) is a state-of-the-art, 40-bed Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Hospital that is dedicated to restoring lives. We are a result of the joint venture/partnership between ProHealth Care and Kindred Healthcare to meet the growing rehabilitation needs of the region.
RHOW specializes in treating patients with many diagnoses, including, but not limited to, stroke, brain injury, amputation, neurological and cardiac disorders. In 2016, RHOW has received Joint Commission Disease Specific Specialization in Stroke and Amputee Rehabilitation.
Successful candidate's will initiate one on one dialog with potential referral sources and maintain position relationships with current referral sources. They will design, develop and drive cutting edge sales strategies designed to increase patient admissions that leverage RHOW's core competence in the area of rehabilitating medically complex patients.
The successful candidate will leverage their clinical and sales expertise to promote the ProHealth Rehabilitation Hospital of WI to prospective referral sources aiding in the patient admissions/referral process. This process begins with identifying new prospects, educating them on RHOW and clearly establishing how we are able to differentiate ourselves from the competition.
Through the building of long term relationships with these referring facilities and physicians, the successful candidate will facilitate the identification and assessment of future patient admissions factoring in length of stay, and level of acuity which should align with the outcomes expected from Kindred's clinical expertise in rehabilitation and nursing.
The candidate can expect to spend most of their time in South Eastern Wisconsin assessing patients, doing chart reviews and using clinical judgment in determining if the patient is an appropriate rehab patient as well as presenting to and calling referral sources in order to grow referral pipeline.
This role is a different way of utilizing you clinical background to help patients' regain their independence and return back to their home.
o College degree required.
o Valid driver's license
o Clinical Licensure required (RN/PT/OTR/SLP)
o Two years of former marketing/sales experience preferred.
o Formal Sales Training preferred.
o Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
