Our Maternal-Fetal Medicine practice is growing and we are currently seeking a genetic counselor to join our passionate and dedicated team. Applicants must have a Master’s degree in Genetics/Genetic Counseling from an ABGC-accredited genetic counseling program and be ABGC/ABMG Board Certified/ Board Eligible.
The available position is for a prenatal genetic counselor who will serve as a fundamental part of our growing, high-risk, perinatology practice. Our team currently includes one GC, one MFM Physician with an additional physician joining our practice soon, four sonographers and five additional assistant medical staff members. Our state-of-the-art facility provides services to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region and the surrounding areas. Our unique practice works from one Rockville, MD-based location.
Assisting our MFM physician and staff in the coordination of patient care
Providing prenatal and preconception genetic counseling for patients
Obtaining, analyzing, counseling, educating and following up with individuals whose families are at risk for genetic diseases or birth defects
Providing written communication to referring doctors that details genetic counseling sessions and any related genetic testing results

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
