The Director of Business Development is responsible for field sales for this growing group purchasing organization. Value First is part of the world’s largest GPO, ProVista, and focuses exclusively on the senior living industry. The Director of Business Development focuses on growth and development of Value First at a regional level in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and New Mexico; with a primary focus on Texas due to the concentration of membership in that state. The Director of Business Development is responsible for recruiting new Value First users, establishing relationships to retain and expand existing users, working in collaboration with other Value First business development managers around the US, as well as working in close collaboration with LeadingAge Texas’s VP of Member Services & Operations and other staff, as well as staff of LeadingAge affiliates in other states. This position requires approximately 75% travel at a regional level, with periodic trips to Value First Headquarters in Minnesota and to national conferences. (www.valuefirstonline.com).
