The Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA), a national association located in Pittsburgh, serving nurses and other healthcare professionals working in palliative and hospice care, is seeking an experienced Grant Manager. This grant-supported position is a part-time temporary contract role (20 hours per week, 3-6 months), which may be repeated or extended based on future grants. The Grant Manager is responsible for assessment, planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of grant activity. As a Grant Manager for HPNA you will:
Provide team leadership and accountability for grant initiatives
Achieve and maintain standards and processes necessary to achieve the goals of each grant initiative
Develop, implement, manage and evaluate grant activities
Oversee grant expenditures to ensure funds are used as directed by the grant
Lead supporting staff and contractors for grant activities which may include: instructional developer/designer, administrative assistant, and others to be determined by grant requirements
5 years experience in program management or grant management
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related experience
Six Sigma certification preferred
