The Ultrasound Supervisor ensures all technologists (sonographers) within this section, as well as oneself, are fully competent to perform all general diagnostic and vascular sonographic procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of specified diseases or conditions. Serves as the resource person and senior technologist within this Section of the Radiology Department.
Graduate of an AMA approved Ultrasound program with current registration in RDMS or RVT. AHA (American Heart Association) Healthcare Provider CPR Certification provided through Cape Fear Valley Training & Development. Minimum three years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer), including vascular ultrasound required. Previous experience as an Ultrasound supervisor or manager in a hospital-based radiology department preferred.
