This position will provide a structured mentorship and a solid foundation to start your leadership/administration track. The successful candidate will act as a clinical lead for MFM in the northeastern region of Geisinger. Will work to coordinate expansion efforts, build relationships with referring providers and ensure quality of MFM care throughout the region. This person will also work collaboratively with MFM System Chief, MFM Nurse Practitioner Chief, and other Geisinger leadership. We have three dedicated neonatal intensive care units within Geisinger ready to provide the highest quality care, along with a team of Perinatologists, MFM nurse practitioners, perinatal ultrasonographers and dedicated genetic counselors. Our team sees an ample volume of patients and supports an MFM fellowship program (since 2006). We have approximately 200 transfer patients who come to our labor and delivery unit and are roughly 1,800 deliveries at GWV and 500 at GCMC.
