Position Overview:

The professional Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the delivery of Surgical Services skilled, high quality care for all patient groups; for assisting in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating nursing practice in accordance with the departments� philosophy of nursing goals and objectives.

He/she demonstrates a high degree of critical thinking, technical skill, initiative, integrity, accuracy and nursing judgement in an interdisciplinary practice.

Performs other duties as required.

Is required to be on call after regularly scheduled hours to cover emergency surgeries.

Must participate in the on-call rotation.

Position Qualifications:

Active California RN license

Healthcare Provider BLS

ACLS within 6 months of hire

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree) Preferred
