Performs diagnostic medical procedures for the adolescent, adult and geriatric patient.Prepares room and patient and assists radiologists in biopsies procedures.Ensures proper charges are captured on a daily basis.In addition, may be required to perform other duties as assigned.Reports to the Director of Imaging Services or designee of the department.
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient. Responsible to maintain all necessary documents needed for mammo accreditation as QC, licenses, privileges, credentials. CME, equipment maintenance. Good verbal communication skills, and ability to work effectively with other departments.Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Two years previous experience in 3D Tomosynthesis mammography required.
California CRT, Fluoroscopy, and Mammo license required.
American Heart Association BLS/CPR required.
