Responsible for coordinating the operational activities of the Patient Service Representative Training Program, as well as oversight of the float pool, FIMS and Abstraction team and to assist with customer service training.
Perform a full range of supervisory duties for all trainees during their training period including evaluation of performance and counseling.
Assign and schedule trainee with selected clinics, coordinating rotation schedule.
Serve as liaison with the Practice and training staff.
Partner with operational areas to identify application issues, training updates and new software releases and procedural and process changes.
Serve as a trainer with lead responsibility for general front office training and backup responsibilities for other areas of the curriculum.
Responsible for the development and maintenance of all training materials.
Consult with each Practice to assist in the development of procedure manuals.
Continually evaluate training program and recommend modifications as needed.
Oversight of employees assigned to the float pool, FIMS and abstraction team Scheduling of float staff, including regular hours, along with approval of PTO.
Reroute float staff to other practice locations, based on operational need.
Customer service training and evaluations.
