The Medical Instrument Technician (MIT) is a member of the endoscopy team and provides assistance to the Practitioner and other team members during endoscopy procedures. The Endoscopy MIT participates with the endoscopy team members in planning and implementing complex procedures under the general supervision of the Practitioner and registered nurse.
