Work Hours/Shift:

You Will Be Responsible For:
 
  • Prepare / help prepare reports, summaries, and other materials for governance meetings, business case reviews, and project reviews
  • Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects to ensure business and project objectives are met
  • Utilize standardized inputs, tools, techniques, and processes for project integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, communication, risk, and stakeholder management
  • Develop project charters and plans; direct, manage, monitor, and control project work; and perform integrated change control (manage changes to scope, schedule, and resources)
  • Collect or ensure the collection of requirements; define scope and create work breakdown structures; validate and control scope
  • Define and sequence project activities; estimate activity durations; develop and control project schedules
  • Acquire, develop, and manage project team members and project resources
  • Plan, manage, and monitor project communications; support or own project change management to help ensure adoption of desired behavioral changes (i.e. utilization of new processes, tools, etc.)
  • Identify and analyze risks and risk responses, monitor risks, and control issues until resolved; escalate issues appropriately
  • Identify stakeholders; manage and monitor stakeholder engagement; define, manage and monitor project-wide reporting and tracking for customer and executive review and based on stakeholder communication needs
  • Work collaboratively with project sponsors, project team members, subject matter experts, and project stakeholders
  • Develop relationships across the team, HR Shared Services, HR, and the broader organization
  • Ensure detailed project documentation is maintained including meeting minutes, change requests, issue logs, status updates, action items, and project reports
  • Identify and document opportunities for efficiency, process improvements and lessons learned

Qualifications
What You Will Need:
 
  • Bachelorâ™s in business administration or related discipline (e.g. Human Resources, Management)
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects and leading project teams (i.e. managing smaller scale projects or smaller segments of large scale projects)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Prof
  • Understanding of project management principles and methodologies
  • Experience with executive-level communications and presentations
  • Experience in human resources and/or shared services, preferred
  • Experience in consulting, preferred
  • Continuing education and / or experience in project management, change management, organizational development, business, IT, preferred
 
 
 
 
Job Summary:
 
The Continuous Improvement and Operations Team sits within the HR Shared Services organization at AdventHealth Corporate.  The team exists to support strategic planning and journey mapping, to analyze the business, to solve problems, to design solutions, and to implement change.  The HR Project Manager focuses primarily on journey mapping (solving problems and designing solutions) and implementing change (initiating, planning, and executing projects and managing change impacts).
 
The HR Project Manager will work in a team environment to drive and support Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) and Center of Expertise (COE) projects. This position is responsible for planning, leading and managing multiple projects related to deployment efforts and other projects deemed within scope for HRSS and COE.  The HR Project Manager must ensure all business, technical and facility stakeholders are engaged and projects are completed per the project schedule. The HR Project Manager requires the ability to work in a constructive, non-biased and collaborative manner by establishing positive work relationships, partnering with facilities, Human Resources Shared Services Leadership, HRIS, Center of Expertise, Training and other departments to drive success.
