The Primary purpose of this position is to provide Health Care aid at the Health Care System VISN and facility levels. The position is responsible for delivering a broad array of health care services throughout the medical Center. MAJOR DUTIES - The Health Care Aid provides care to Veterans and staff at the COVID-19 screening stations which may be outside and/or inside buildings within the Salisbury Health Care System to include the Health Care Centers (HCC) and Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) - Responsible for following infection control procedures - Performs a range of clinical support duties which may include taking vital signs, recording vital signs and reporting deviations to the RN - Maintains safe environment for patients, staff and visitors - Responsible for cleaning equipment (wheelchairs, etc.) Work Schedule: Various Tours of Duty Position Description Title/PD#: Health Aid (Surge) Not-to-Exceed One Year/ 99917-A
