This position serves as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and performs computed tomography for the Martinsburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The incumbent performs a wide variety of complex radiographic(R) and computed tomography (CT) examination procedures. These exams are achieved by using diagnostic x-ray equipment such as fluoroscopic units in Radiology and Operating Room, digital radiography, computed radiography, and computed tomography scanner. Candidates at this grade level are to be qualified to provide services in specialized areas of radiologic technology and/or general radiologic technology services. Specialized Assignments: Specialized areas of radiologic technology include general diagnostic radiologic technology (R), Computed Tomography (CT), Candidates must be ARRT certified in General Radiology and possess the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and have an advanced certification in computed tomography. Please ensure you provide your certification in your application. For this position you must be certified in CT. Please include the CT certification in you application. Current VA and Federal employees must provide the most recent copy of their SF50. Work Schedule: Varied shifts and schedules available based on the facilities needs and requirements.
