As an Advanced Medical Supply Technician in the Sterile Processing Service (SPS). The MST is responsible for daily operations of sterilization and High-Level Disinfection (HLD) of critical and semi-critical instruments and equipment reused on multiple patients through the operating rooms and specialty procedure clinics. The Advanced MST is the subject matter expert in processing all items within SPS. This includes even the most complex items and processes. Demonstrates an in depth knowledge of the decontamination process and manufacturer guidelines. To include taking action to correct damaged or malfunctioning RME. Demonstrates expert knowledge in all forms of sterile preparation from processing to assembly. Uses advanced knowledge in the assembly of trays and carts. Troubleshooting deficiencies and providing feedback on substitutions. Operates independent of supervision. Work Schedule: Various Tours
