This position is located within Clinical Informatics Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS), Phoenix, AZ. PVAHCS is a Joint Commission Accredited, complexity level 1b tertiary care facility serving Veterans in Phoenix, Arizona. PVAHCS maintains outpatient clinics located in: Gilbert, Central Phoenix, Payson (Contract), Show Low, Globe and Surprise, Arizona. PVAHCS is a teaching hospital, providing a full range of patient cares services, with state-of-the-art technology and research. Major Duties: Leads and organizes delivery of informatics services, design and use of informatics solutions and technology to support all areas of nursing and healthcare providers, knowledge of the methods, techniques, and tools used to analyze program, organizational, and healthcare/mission performance; includes methods that deliver key performance information (for example, comparative, trend, diagnostic, root cause, predictive) used to inform decisions, actions, communications, and accountability systems.
