The Quality/Data Analyst performs a range of functions and tasks supporting the provision of safe, high quality care throughout the organization.. The position performs observations, data collection, abstraction and analysis for a variety of internal and external quality and/or patient safety initiatives and regulatory requirements. Analysts are required to understand complex data specifications and methodologies underlying initiatives. Additionally, the analysis must understand the care processes, workflow systems, and structures that support the healthcare practices, regulations, and outcomes being measured, monitored and improved. This position communicates, coordinates, and collaborates with internal department staff, organizational leadership, and medical staff to continuously improve organizational processes. The position reports to the Director Clinical Quality Improvement.
Current California RN License.
Quality background preferred.
Minimum 2 years clinical experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of current hospital, local, state and national standards/codes/regulations
