Responsible for the supervision of all phlebotomy activities to include adequate staffing, review of policies/procedures, participate in Quality Improvement activities, associate training, report generation, investigations and special requests. Coordinate daily activities of the specimen receipt area and main lab outpatient area. Perform all the duties of a phlebotomist including specimen collection, specimen receiving, and specimen referrals. Maintain all clerical records and offer technical training of new phlebotomists. Responsible for management of all send out test and monitoring couriers for specimen pickup.
Basic Computer Knowledge
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Three yearsâ€™ experience in the area of phlebotomy procedures
