This position facilitates, develops and implements information systems that improve workflows, department processes and documentation. The position will ensure the ability to execute and sustain best practices within the Medical Staff Services Department and to promote the quality of information and utilization of credentialing applications and data delivered to end-users and the organization at large.
1-2 years Medical Staff Services/Credentialing or related field -AND-
Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) by the National Association of Medical Staff Services within two years of hire or transfer into the position
