This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. Incumbent works in the areas of competency modeling and assessment, organizational development and cultural transformation, report and statistical interpretation, communications strategy and planning, instructional systems design and implementation, program evaluation, and training and development. The incumbent serves as the authoritative source and principal advisor in the area of organizational development psychology. The incumbent assists in the development, implementation, training, maintenance, and process improvement of a wide range of healthcare programs and initiatives. The position will work closely with the VISN office to accomplish VHA and VISN goals throughout the facility and acts as a liaison to represent the facility capabilities within the VISN, VHA, and VA nationally, as well as other government agencies and the greater community. The position has oversight and responsibility for enhancing and continually improving the overall experience of both patients and staff, the ultimate "customers" of the organization. S/he clearly defines the optimal experience for patients and staff, including the behavioral changes necessary to achieve cultural transformation throughout the entire organization. S/he utilizes coaching, best practices, and collaboration to improve service excellence throughout the organization and works to share and spread best practices. Works to ensure alignment of people, processes, systems and rewards across the organization. Identifies and presents key issues impacting the customer experience for ELT discussion and decision making which will include findings, barriers to success and progress toward results.
