Under supervision, advises and counsels management and front-line staff about a broad range of employee and labor relations matters including the following: policies and procedures, attendance, performance, discipline, supervision, grievances and contract language. Prepares for and hears grievances, conducts meet and discuss sessions, and provides training. Interprets and administers pertinent statutes, regulations and collective bargaining agreements. Conducts workplace investigations. Provides testimony as needed.
Education Bachelors Degree: Human Resources, Labor Relations or equivalent field (Required) Masters Degree (Preferred)
Experience 3 Years of professional experience performing labor and employee relations functions which has included progressive responsibility with dispute resolution programs and collective bargaining agreements, grievance handling and investigations (Required)
License/Certifications SPHR - Sr Prof in Human Resources (Preferred) or SHRM-SCP - SHRM - SCP (Preferred) PHR - Prof in Human Resources (Preferred) or SHRM-CP - SHRM - CP (Preferred)
