The VISN 20 Accreditation Coordinator provides oversight and execution of administrative policies, programs, and operations for VISN 20 with regard to accreditation. Has responsibility for oversight and implementation of the continuous changes in the accreditation processes for external organizations (The Joint Commission), Office of the Inspector General (OIG), Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), College of American Pathologist (CAP), Commission on Cancer and etc.). Duties include but are not limited to: Establishes and maintains effective relationships with all levels of medical center and VISN personnel as well as program and service leaders at the local and network levels.
