Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, fills all physician orders/prescriptions which include all oral, topical, and injectable medications as well as nutrition. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients. Demonstrates proficiency in more than one work area and is assigned to work in a designated area determined by the pharmacy
manager when applicable upon completion of internal department requirements. Performs duties to provide the highest level of patient care and maximize patient satisfaction.
High school diploma or GED required.
Current certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
Must accrue enough continuing education credits to maintain the certification.
